I came home from school to find mom sobbing and rubbing tears from her eyes. I didn’t know why she was crying, but when I hugged her, I cried as well. People of all ages cry. It’s a fundamental human behaviour.
There’s no set limit to the number of tears a person can cry. If you gathered the tears cried by everyone throughout history, we would discover certainly that the world has cried itself a river.
After taking on human nature even God Almighty cried.
‘Jesus wept’ when visiting the tomb of his friend Lazarus, John 11:35.
Jesus cried over the impenitent city of Jerusalem, Luke 19:41.
‘During the days of His life on earth Jesus offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears’,Hebrews 5:7.

How are you feeling today?

Anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, tired, sad, disappointed, angry?
Whether you consider yourself to be an overemotional person or a reserved individual. God’s no stranger to any of your feelings.
God’s fully experienced human emotions in the person of Jesus Christ.
‘For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin’ Hebrews 4:15
God knows how you feel and he can help you manage your emotions. In fact, we are encouraged to dump all our misfortunes, adversities, and trials on God. 1 Peter 5:7.
‘Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you" Psalm 55:22:
Jesus sends out a comforting invitation to wounded hearts,
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28-30:

Putting trust in the weeping Messiah is a game changer. Jesus knows exactly how you feel. Ask Him to fill you with His sustaining Holy Spirit. And He will turn your griefs into celebrations.
